About Denmark Girls Basketball

Coach Siuta is entering his 4th year as Head Coach of the Danes. Last year Coach Siuta led the Danes to a school record 14 wins and second state playoff birth in his first 3 seasons. Coach Siuta previously coached at South Forsyth as a JV Coach and Varsity Assistant on the boys side (2019-22) as well as an 8th Grade Middle School Coach at Piney Grove( 2017-2018). Coach Siuta played Collegiately at The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford (2000-2004). Coach Siuta and his wife Ashley enjoy spending time with their dog Koda when  not in the gym.

 Coach Pesanka is entering his 2nd year as Varsity Assistant Coach of the Danes. Coach Pesanka previously coached at South Forsyth as a 9th Grade Head Coach and Varsity Assistant on the boy’s side (2022-2024) as well as a JV Head Coach and Varsity Assistant Coach at Fort Mill High School in Fort Mill, SC (2006-2014, 2017-2022). During Coach Pesanka’s time at Fort Mill High School the boy’s basketball program won 5 Region Championships and the 4A State Championship in 2007.  Coach Pesanka and his wife Diane have 3 boys, Colt (13), Cooper (8) and Alden (1). 

Coach Kent will be entering his third season as JV coach and Varsity assistant of the Danes.
